Pope Francis has proclaimed a Jubilee Year of Mercy. It is a special Holy Year to celebrate the great mercy and love of God for each one of us, a love that has no end. The year will begin on 8 December. As Bishop Liam’s Pastoral Letter points out, some parishes in this local area are coming together to hear more about Pope Francis’ hopes for the Year of Mercy and to begin to think about how it could become a year to remember for our communities. This will happen in the Workhouse, Carrickmacross on 25th Nov 8pm – 9.30pm. Tea will be available from 7.30pm. You are warmly welcome to join us.
