Pope Francis will impart an extraordinary blessing Urbi et Orbi , to the City and the World, from St Peter’s Square in Rome on this coming Friday, March 27, at 5pm (Irish Time) and it is planned that this will be broadcast of RTE NEWS NOW channel (Channel 21 Saorview, Channel 521 on Sky). The blessing will be preceded by

RTÉ  will  televise Mass at 10.30am on each weekday on the RTÉ News Now Channel. The RTE News Now channel can be accessed on Saorview (Channel 21) and also on Sky (Channel 521) and on Eir (Channel 500). There is also an RTÉ News Now App which can be downloaded and used to see live broadcasts.

Due to the current COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic, and in accordance with Government guidelines, and with new Diocesan Norms introduced by Bishop Duffy, the following take place with immediate effect:

ALL public Masses in the Diocese of Clogher are suspended with immediate effect.

Daily Mass will be celebrated in St Joseph’s church, Carrickmacross, at 10am Monday

All Celebrations of the Eucharist will continue to take place across the parish  Churches at the scheduled times. The celebration will have no congregation present . People may tune into the celebration in St Joseph’s Church by way of the webcam live streaming www.carrickmacrossparish.ie or www.mcnmedia.tv  or the radio  broadcast on (92.1fm)

Those who are unable to access these facilities

Assistant Sacristan / Caretaker required, for St Joseph’s Church Carrickmacross. (16hrs per week).  Training will be provided as appropriate. Details and Job Description available by email from the Parish office. Applicants should submit a CV with covering letter and contact details of TWO referees to the parish office by 12 noon on Friday 7^th February please note that
