St. Joseph’s Young Priests Society

St. Joseph’s Young Priests Society is a lay organisation approved by the Irish Episcopal Conference. The purpose of the Society is to pray for vocations to the priesthood and the religious life and to assist financially students for the priesthood.

The local branch here in Carrickmacross was founded on 27th January 1981. Members are encourage to pray for vocations. To gain a deeper love and understanding of the Mass through frequent attendance, to attend branch meetings and other activities as often as they can.

Our branch meetings are held on the First Friday after 7.30pm Mass. If anyone is interested in helping the Society you are welcome to come along to any of our meetings.
