St Joseph Triduum : Wednesday 29th April – Friday 1st May

In honour of St Joseph , the St Joseph Triduum prayer will be recited on Wednesday 29th April , Thursday 30th April , and Friday 1st May at the 10am Mass in St Joseph’s Church Carrickmacross ( via webcam and radio ) .

On Friday Evening the 1st May ( The Feast day of St Joseph) Reflection and prayer will take place at 7.00pm in St Joseph’s Church Carrickmacross, ( via webcam and Radio)

Petitions : To be placed in the petition box at the front of the Altar , ( these petitions can be written privately at home ) . The Petition box will be available in the Church from Monday 27th April.

Prayer to St Joseph the Worker

Dear St Joseph, kind and loving Father, you are always helpful to those in need.

I come before you in sincerity of heart. Listen kindly to my prayer, and obtain for me the favours I ask. ( Pause and make your request)

Through your powerful protection bless the unfolding journey of my life.

Grant me patience, wisdom, healing and encouragement.

Give me courage that I may stand secure and face the challenges of life. Shelter me in times of difficulty.

Help me to admit when I am wrong and when necessary gently lead me towards a new beginning.

Grant me health of mind, body and spirit, so that I may contribute to the world and enjoy my one precious life.

Obtain for those who have asked my prayer , God’s blessing and protection.
